MOMMY & LOGANS GREAT ADVENTURE

So Logan and I decided to go on an adventure, just the two of us. We took a week long trip to Los Angeles to go and stay with grandma and do a lot of site seeing. The first part of our Great Adventure was Logan's 1st real airplane ride. He was on a plane once before but was only 1 month old, so to him this was his first ride on an airplane.

Then Logan and I got on the plane, picked out our seats and were ready to take off. Logan was WONDERFUL, he acted like he flew everyday and it was no big deal, once we were in the air, I got out Logan's PSP and he watched a movie, ate pretzels and had apple juice. The flight was over so fast only 1 hour.

SPENDING THE MORNING AT THE PARK

We went to Griffith Park and had a blast at the huge playground, there had been some fires going on in LA but this day was really nice, no smoke, just lots of fun.

We went to the LA Zoo, Oh this was a great day and so much fun. We started in the petting Zoo area and Logan got to brush the goats.

Flamingo were pretty cool, but it was a little smelly!

HIPPO WAKING UP

Logan and I really loved being at the Zoo first thing in the morning, because we got to see the Huge Hippo wake up and have breakfast then take a dip in his pool!

HIPPO HAS BREAKFAST

Here you can see the Hippo trying to get a Honeydew Mellon off of the rock, it took him a while to realize that he needed to pull the leaf that it was sitting on to get the Mellon in the water so he could eat it.

Here he is trying to get the Mellon in his mouth, but it keeps getting pushed away.
Finally he gets the whole Mellon in his mouth and bites down, all the seeds inside explode out of his mouth.
You can see bits of the Mellon seeds and piece of apple in the water.

CHILDRENS DISCOVERY MUSEUM

Here we are at the Discovery Museum in Pasadena, it was great, there were lots of fun things for Logan to do, here he is painting a big leaf.




He found a tunnel, but it was too dark inside so he didn't want to go in it.

OK so I have total forgotten the name of this place, I think its Dragon Caste, its in Burbank and its like Chucky Cheese with WAY better food. Here we are at the Largest Claw game we have ever seen, Logan loves the Claw games, so he freaked over this one.
