PLAYING IN THE CRIB

We finally got Lilly a mobile for her crib and just in time as we are about to move her from the bassinet to the crib, she is getting so big and the bassinet is not going to be roomy enough for much longer.

Anyway, Logan loves to lay in Lilly's crib and was so excited about the mobile that he insisted that he lay in the crib with Lilly to watch it for the first time, of course I let him, Lilly loves her big brother so much that I knew it would make her happy too.

So Logan is in the crib with Lilly and he starts to tell her what is on her mobile and humming along to the music. So cute and Lilly loved every second of it.

JUST A LITTLE TASTE

David, Logan, Lilly and I went to the Sunset Mall and did some window shopping, then we went to Red Robin for lunch.

The food was good and Lilly was just jumping out of Daddy's lap looking at all the food and watching us eat. So Daddy decided to let her have a little taste of Logan's Mellon, well she thought that was just ok, then daddy gave her a taste of Logan's Mandarin Orange... wow she LOVED it, she just kept licking it and trying to suck on it, very very yummy to little Lilly. After a little bit daddy took it away and OH BOY did that piss Lilly off to no end!

When Lilly sees any of us eating her eyes get really big and she starts shaking with excitement, she really wants to eat solid food NOW!

What is really funny is that David's mom used to tell us that when David was little he would do just that, Big eyes looking at the food and shaking with anticipation of what he was going to get. I wish she was here to see this, I know she would have a good laugh over it and agree that Lilly is Daddy's Lil Girl!

BUILDING BLOCKS

LILLY IS 2 MONTHS OLD

Lilly is now 2 months old and she had her Well Baby Check up today, she did really great! She also had to get some vaccinations... I hate it when my little ones have to have shots! She had 5 vaccines done, 4 were shots and 1 was oral! Of course she cried when they gave her the shots and so did I! The Doctor says she is doing wonderful!

Weight 10 pounds 14 ounces - 43 percentile

22 1/2 inches long - 61 percentile

Lilly is doing great with tummy time she can lift her head and shoulders up when on her belly and is trying to roll over when she is laid on her back, she holds her head up extremely well when held or sitting, she can bear weight on her legs and can almost stand when held, she recognizes mommy, daddy, big brother and grandma and we are greeted with a big smile and a little coo. She is cooing more and more and just starting to squeal and laugh, which makes me squeal and laugh too.

She still eats and sleeps when she wants to, but has started making her own schedule, she eats about every 3 hours and takes two good naps one mid morning and the other in the afternoon along with all her mini naps through out the day, plus she sleeps about 6 hours at night.
