PUMPKIN HUNT

My mom grew pumpkins with the kids, only one made it so she purchased a bunch more and made a pumpkin hunt for the the kids. They had so much fun!

FISHING

We took the kids fishing, this was Lilly's first time and she caught 5 fish and Logan ended up catching 8... David caught 2 and I caught NONE!! lol I love fishing!

BALLET AND KARATE

Lilly is signed up for Ballet Classes and Logan for Karate Classes, both are so excited!

READY FOR SCHOOL TO START

We have decided to home school both of the kids this year, Lilly needs to stay away from illnesses and pre-school is full of it, plus we have all the fun of doctors appointments to go to! So home school it is. Both of the kids are so excited to start. Lilly will start Pre-School and Logan will be in 2nd Grade. School Starts on August 25, 2014. Logan will also be starting Karate and Lilly will start Ballet.

NEW TATTOO

I haven't had a new tattoo in about 13 years, so it was time for me to get one and David and I happened to get a little unexpected money, so paid some bills and got myself a Treat!!

KASSY 4TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

Our niece Kassandra had her 4th Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese and I was asked to make the cake and Cup cakes, it was a Frozen Theme Party. What a fun party it was, so much fun for all the kids!!

GONE FISHING

David and I took our kids and our niece Kassy Fishing, kids had a great time and Lilly and Kassy got their first fishing pools.

LOGAN'S NEVER ENDING EAR INFECTION

Logan got a very bad ear infection that just would not clear up with regular antibiotics, he ended up having to have an antibiotic shot to get him all better!

For a school project, Logan was told he had to write a "How to" about anything he wanted, and if he would like he could do a video of it to post on you tube. Logan of course jumped at the chance to do a you tube video.. see below for the link to Logan's video!

I love my second job, it allows me to work from home. So this means I can be outside with my kids and watch them play!!

Now that Logan is able to ride a bike with out training wheels, Aunt Christine and Uncle Tom decided to by him a new bike!

Logan is riding a two wheel bike, no training wheels and we didn't teach him, he taught himself! We are so proud!!

I haven't posted much on here since we have been going through a lot with Lilly. See all about it on my other blog click -> Oh Geez Really!?!?!

KIDS WORLD SCHOOL

As many of you know I have taken on a 2nd job, I work at home for Kids World School by remote log in. They are located in Los Angeles and I needed to take a trip down to do some work in the office. We made it a family trip, that's why we were able to hit the Zoo in LA.

The school is amazing and I wish my kids could attend this school everyday!! 

The owner of the school invited my kids to spend two days at the school while I worked in an office just a few doors down from them.

Lilly is not a fan of school, we have taken her to preschool and it was not a good experience for her, she cried all day one day and then another day refused to eat anything all day. 

But at Kids world school Lilly was so happy, she didn't want to leave and she made so many friends! 

Logan also enjoyed it, but not as much... He is just not a fan of school at all unless it's home school. But it was much better then the public school he currently attends and said so himself.

On the first day we went in the school had a person come in with live animals for the kids to learn about, touch and hold. Per my kids, it was the best day ever.

I love making cakes and cupcakes, I hope to one day to this for a living... well I got my first order for a Christmas Party, I made 2 dozen. So I made 6 cupcakes in each of the decorations below..

HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY LOGAN

Happy 7th Birthday to our amazing son! This year for his Birthday he wanted to do the Chuck E Cheese Birthday party, so we invited his friends and all our family for a fun Birthday Party. I have to say it was really nice having Chuck E Cheese handle all the work for the party and I could enjoy it more. They provided the food, drinks, goodie bags for all the kids, tons of tokens and Logan and I went in the Ticket Machine to collect as many tickets as we could. They also gave Logan a crown and a balloon Guitar and Chucky came out and everyone sang Happy Birthday! Logan says it was his best Birthday ever!!

 

Logan is now 54lbs and stands 4ft tall, seriously this kid only has 1ft 2in to go and he will out grow me and I think it will be very soon... just look at his daddy who is 6'7", my son is going to tower over me when he is a teenager..

 

Logan is really into this game called Minecraft, its all he talks about and love to play on line with his best friend Payton. Logan is doing very well in Public School, getting good grades and had made a lot of friends.

 

THE ELVES HAVE ARRIVED!

 

We have been doing the Elf on the Shelf tradition for the kids since 2011 when our first Elf named Elfie by the kids arrived, this year was a big surprise when Elfie brought along another Elf to help keep an eye on the kids. They named her Bella! Oh the fun times the kids had with the elves!

 

MAKING A FIREPLACE FOR SANTA

After reading a Christmas Story the kids asked how Santa would be able to get into our home, see we don't have a fireplace... So I told the kids that we could make our own fireplace and then Santa with all his magic would turn it into a real fireplace and he would then be able to come into the house and drop off their gifts. Once he was done he would change it the fireplace back to what we created. The kids were excited about our new project. I taped up some paper on a wall that we can paint on and let the kids do all the painting and I added the detail work. Turn out nice and they kids were so happy and proud.

 

 

LOGAN FIRST LOST TOOTH 2013

After Thanksgiving dinner Logan let Daddy pull his first loose tooth and it was awesome. Logan was so brave and I was so excited!

 

Logan's adult tooth was right behind the baby tooth, so when you look at the photos you will see the new tooth already.

 

Logan got a letter from the tooth fairy, a treasure box with $5.00 and a bunch of chocolate gold coins. He was a very happy boy!! 

 

TURKEY DAY 2013

This year for Thanksgiving my sister in law went to Los Angeles with her family to visit more of our family... my mother also went to LA to spend Turkey day with my brother who is a Cordon Blu Grad (lucky) so it was left to me to make Thanksgiving for my family and my sisters family!

 

It turned out pretty good, no one got food poisoning... LOL

 

DONT TEXT AND WALK IN HIGH HEALS

I tell the kids all the time, don't play with the phone or tablet while you are walking... you would think I would know better and follow my own advice, but no... I was walking on the path up to our place and get a text... long story short I was wearing high heals, not paying attention and fell on to my knee so freakin hard that David said he could hear the crack of my knee... I scream so loud...LOL...here is a series of photos of the progress of my ugly hurt knee...

MEET SKY

This very cute and loving stray cat started visiting us, he looked hungry so we fed him and let him come inside for a visit..  and well the kids fell in love and the cat has become a member of the family.. the kids named him Sky.

 

He is a very cool cat, puts up with the kids and is always sweet and not a needed cat... funny thing is David has no interest in the cat at all and it always wants to cuddle up to him.

Welcome to our Halloween Party Hosted by Kristin and Gary, food, decoration set up and all planning was done with our little group of friends. The Party was AMAZING! So many people and everyone had a great time!

Baking Halloween cup cakes for the Halloween Party at Kristin and Gary's place... think they turned out pretty cute... Also made a Birthday Cake for Kristine since it was her Birthday recently.

 

  

BLUE OCTOBER

 

For our 9th Anniversary my wonderful husband David purchased me two tickets to see "Blue October" here in Las Vegas, he wanted to get me the "Meet and Greet" back stage passes, but at $50.00 a pop it was just not going to happen... I was thrilled just to be able to see them live! Yeah I married a great man! I was so happy because I have been a fan since my sister gave me one of their CD's and said you have got to listen to this, I was hooked and 7 years later I still cant get enough of them! I have made several attempts in the past to go to one of their concerts and really wanted to see Justin Furstenfeld "Open Book Tour" But of course life and money always got in the way, so I made do with watching videos on YouTube, not the same, but hell.. it worked for me. 

PUMPKIN PATCH

My sister in law Christine took our kids and her Daughter Kassy to the pumpkin patch for some fun, thanks Auntie Inna!!

 

9TH ANNIVERSARY

 

David and I have been together for 14 years and we celebrated our 9th Wedding anniversary with a nice dinner out and some gambling!

It was nice just to spend some alone time together!

I love this man more and more everyday!!
