Little Miss Lilly is now 11 months old!

She is doing wonderfully well, walking all over the place, dancing, laughing, talking (baby talk) and loves to play with her brother Logan.

She still has no teeth, she prefers the bottle over solid foods, unless it's what Daddy or Grandma are eating... then she must have it.

She is a smart little cookie and follows directions well, if you ask her to take something to Daddy, she picks it up and practically runs to him with it. She also has a funny little game, if you are watching her ... she will pick something up off the floor and act like she is putting it in her mouth, sometimes she will put it her her mouth then smile at you, she does this because David or I will run up to her and try and get what ever she put in her mouth out, this makes her laugh, she thinks its some fun kinda game. She is really into books, just like Logan. Her most loved book is Old MacDonald and when you turn the page to the duck part she starts saying Duck duck!

Lilly now says MINE and has almost got Gama down pat, but her favorite word is Duck Duck.

She had a check up with the Doctor and the Doctor found that Lilly's weight gain and eating habits are not up to par and was concerned that she was still having GERD issues and has put Lilly back on the GERD medication. The Doctor said this may be happening because solid food causes more acids to digest and if her GERD is still present, this would cause Lilly pain, bloating and lack of interest in eating it at all. So we will know in about 3 weeks if it is the GERD if she shows improvement in her eating. Regardless, it looks like Lilly will stay on formula longer then most babies do, this is to ensure she has enough to eat and can maintain her weight, most Babies give up formula at 1 year, but we could be on it for a lot longer if needed. The Doctor reassures me that she will grow out of this and sometimes it just takes time.
